SUPER 8 FILMS
Created by Eastman Kodak, SUPER 8 film was originally released to market in 1965, and soon after began to revolutionise the home movie industry. With its uniquely warm tomes and grainy texture, it’s easy to see why it’s been adored by family’s and amateur filmmakers since it’s inception. I purchased this vintage Super 8 camera in Italy on my recent holiday and I too immediately fell in love with the images it produces. So naturally, it only makes sense for this piece of history to make its way into my regular arsenal of tools.
Let's talk about analogue, timeless captures, grainy textures, nostalgic colours and all the feelings in one frame. Film photography is one of my absolute favourite ways to document people.
I shoot on a medium format Hasselblad 500cm and a 35mm Canon AE1.
Let's create some magic together.
